If you can’t get it open, and neither can anyone else, be thankful they are only like $20 and not much more to get filles $10 +/-

I suggest that you take your tank to a location such as Home Depot and swap your tank for a refilled one. If you fool around with yours and break the valve you risk having it take off like a rocket and harm someone or risk a fire.

Take it in to a gas station or where they sell propane! You probably don’t want to mess with it, could be dangerous! Anyway briquets make what ever you BBQ taste better!

Are you turning it clockwise or counterclockwise?
that can bring you dramatic results!!!
Try the other way!
Glad to help!

Hello
If i were you i would not bother in cause u damage the connection and create a gas leak witch will in turn cause an explosion or fire. they are not really that expensive for a new one.better to be safe then sorry.Besides they are only good for 10 yrs anyway u can check the date stamped on the side of the gas bottle at the top to make sure its still good.

yeah, they corrode in threaded area, to break up the corrosion, rap the screw that holds on the handle two or three times with a hammer, then twist counter clockwise. And, do it outside!
