Can electric stoves be cheaper to use than gas stoves?

I know that the gas is usually cheaper than electricity (dryers gas versus electric dryers, gas and heating oil versus electric heaters, etc..) But I live in a small studio and would be more convenient to use a George Foreman grill or electric heater. Is it cheaper too, because the area used for heat is much lower than when pre-heating and the use of a gas oven? Or when just using the gas stove top burners are cheaper than the smallest electric?

its cheaper to use gas, because those george forman grills can suck a lot of power, and if gas is cheaper in your area, its better to use that and also i feel like its natural to use gas grills instead of electic, gives burgers or something else like that a char-broiled taste!

Gas would be cheaper. However, you aren’t running a restaurant or cooking for a large family. I am quite sure a George Foreman grill would be ideal in your situation. Probably should also get a decent toaster oven so you can add some variety to your choices.
With what I imagine is your limited use, I wouldn’t think the savings would matter.

Usually gas is always better because of the cost. the amoount of electricity used to warm electrical appliances is more than the cost o gas.

Small Electric Appliances don’t cost much to run. Somewhere on the appliance it will state how much wattage it uses Depending on whether you’re burning natural gas or propane, the cost may vary. If you live in a small apartment and burn a lot of gas without a chimney, you may be burning up your room air, creating lots of carbon dioxide net and at some point maybe even carbon monoxide.
