BBQ Ribs in a crock pot?

I make ribs in the crock pot this week. . . Need to know what type of use barbecue sauce, Sweet Baby-rays to be good? This is my favorite. And I have to put them in the oven first, or simply in the pot for 8-10 hours?

I don’t usually cook them in the oven first, I just cook them in the crock pot for a couple of hours. And I use sweet baby ray’s too – it’s the best! I also add some herbs and spices. I’ve found it helps to add a little water too.

If you make ribs in a crock pot, just leave it in the crock pot; you don’t really need to broil them first. Although that might make them a nice crispy outer skin, it will just go away when you leave in the crock pot for a few hours. Also make sure you put enough BBQ sauce in so it doesnt stick to sides and possibly burn. I have made BBQ brisket myself and find using any sauce as long as it’s enough of it in there it will come out good. Good luck to you
