I love Sweet Baby Ray BBQ sauce, but no longer eat or drink things that contain corn syrup. . . Does anyone know of a good barbecue sauce without corn syrup? Especially one that tastes like Sweet Baby Ray, I know that barbecue sauce should have some form of sweetener. . . I’m fine with that. . . I am just not corn syrup.

I don’t know of any specifics but maybe you could try making your own. I don’t know that you will find one that does not contain corn syrup seeing as it is in practically everything nowadays. Good Luck!

Good luck. I don’t think there are any that don’t contain corn syrup. You could make your own – it will keep in the fridge for a few weeks. But you have to use some kind of sweetener or it just doesn’t taste right. Sweet Baby Rays is excellent bbq sauce.

Personally I like to make my own bbq sauce.
********* BBQ Sauce:
2 cups ketchup
1 cup water
6 tablespoons brown sugar
5 tablespoons white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a large saucepan or Dutch oven.
Over high heat, bring ingredients to a boil, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
Once sauce comes to a boil, reduce temperature to low and simmer, uncovered, for at least 2 hours.
