Propane tank is used in remote areas of natural gas lines for cooking and heating, and is also the source of heat in most barbecue grills gas. Propane burns with oxygen in the chemical equation equilibrada.C3H8 (g) +5 O2 (g) = 3 CO2 (g) + 4 H2O (g)-Calculate the mass in grams of water vapor produced if 3. 21 mol of propane is burned.

  1. Hahaha Says:

Please find the molar masses for water: 18.015g/mol
Notice that one mole of propane burned would generate 4 moles of water. Hence 3.21 mol of propane burned would generate 4*3.21 mol = 12.84 mol of water, which is: 231g
