Does anyone know of a home version of the sauce Sweet Baby Ray’s? We do a lot of homemade things, but I can not do it with barbecue sauce, because nothing tastes better to me than lol, I think I need to leave a little aquí.Primero – I buy it. In fact, I have 6 bottles almacenadas.Quiero be able to do mine and no, it would cost me more to do because most of the ingredients listed house BBQ sauce is something that we have at home , buying in bulk or very baratas.Sólo want to be able to make me, so I would not buy it. We become very frugal and do many things from scratch. I made the house BBQ sauce and it worked. . . just not as good as Sweet Baby Ray lol.

I am going to offer you one suggestion, by the time you get down to make it, you will be disappointed. Best solution is go to Sweet Baby Ray’s if you can, and buy a couple of gallons.

I have this rule, why bother making something when the very best already exists, especially since the ingredients you would need to create it would cost you 10 times more than buying the product itself. That goes for Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce. It isn’t a top secret, award-winning recipe for nothing

Nothing compares to Sweet Baby Ray’s. They sell it at the grocery store these days, so run right over and grab a bottle!

Ran out of Sweet Baby Ray’s
and needed something to make
BBQ Country Style Ribs
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
2 dashes hot pepper sauce
In a blender, combine brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, water and Worcestershire sauce.
Season with mustard, paprika, salt, pepper, and hot pepper sauce. Blend until smooth.
FOOTNOTE
This will fill a 32 ounce ketchup bottle exactly
. Cut back on the brown sugar to make it less sweet, or add more Worcestershire for more ’steak sauce’ appeal.

Well, I don’t know where you live, but maybe this will help:

If you can find a grocery store near you that stocks it, you’re good to go. It may even be worth driving a couple of hours and buying a whole case of it at once.
EDIT IN LIGHT OF NEW INFORMATION:
Ah, I see! You’re looking for something more economical.
I would suggest that if you try to make your own version of brand-name sauce, you and your family will find yourselves comparing it with the “real thing”, and will feel a bit deprived because you have cut back from buying the real stuff. Instead, make your own unique sauce for homemade barbecue.
For example:
1 can of frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper (cayenne)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon clove
Mix thoroughly and use as you would bottled sauce.

This BBQ Sauce is a thick sweet sauce with a touch of heat to give it a little kick. This is a great barbecue sauce on BBQ Ribs.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup ketchup
1 cup water
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cayenne
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over a medium heat. Stir constantly for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sauce should be thick. Allow to cool. Store in an airtight container. Refrigerate.
Good Luck!
