Are Stainless Steel grates on a grill worth it?

I am in the market for a new grill and I was curious to know if it is worth the extra $100 to buy a grill with stainless steel grates.

i prefer cast iron but hard to find
yeah stainless is a good 1 but not much better than the other type

100 bucks and no rust, probably a good deal, but if you maintain it well all youll need is some WD 40 and a metal brissel brush. just make sure to burn off the wd 40 before using it or your food will taste nasty.

I’d go with cast iron as they retain the heat better, plus if you take care of plate it won’t rust, so for me I’d save the money preferring to go the maintenance route
