Very good replacement for the procelain originals. Too expensive to say I love them, but the do work.

After owning my grill for 5-6 years, it was time to replace the cooking grates. The originals eventually rusted, so I chose stainless steel replacements. What an improvement! If the grates are oiled, food won’t stick. Cleaning the grates is simple, either by burning the food off, or cleaning with a grill scraping tool. These will last a long time. The stainless steel grates on Amazon are cheaper than the porcelain grates found in the stores. Highly recommended.

The S. S. replacement grates for my Weber BBQ are well worth the extra cost. They clean up easily and look great!

These provide much better cooking than the original porcelain-covered grates. Expensive, but worth it. Should last forever.

My original, porcelain-coated grates had chipped and were starting to rust. Since the rest of the grill is still in great shape (after changing the flavor bars to stainless steel too), I decided to try these stainless steel grates. I was concerned at first because they were so much lighter and thinner than the iron ones. But they seem to work fine. I still get a good sear when the grates are hot and the meats don’t seem to stick to these grates any more than they did to the originals. So I’m happy with the purchase, and I think these grates will last a long time.
